Mark attended Georgia Southern University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. From there, Mark attended the NewSchool of Architecture + Design in San Diego, California. Graduating Summa Cum Laude, Mark earned a Master of Architecture and is registered both as an Architect and Interior Designer. He has experience designing medical, historic preservation, higher education, theatre, retail, sport, government, and heavy industrial facilities. He has contributed to the design of projects for the City of Rome, the City of Cedartown, Berry College, the Northwest Georgia Housing Authority, and Floyd Medical Center. A life-long resident of Rome, Georgia, Mark lives here with his wife, Michelle, and two sons, Logan and Cooper. He serves as a board member for the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce, the Historic DeSoto Theatre Foundation, the Sexual Assault Center of Northwest Georgia, and the Rome-Floyd County Commission on Children and Youth. In the past, he has also served as vice-chair of the Historic Preservation Commission for the City of Rome.

 

 

 

Audrey Wynn Burton, Assoc. AIA, NCARB

Audrey holds a Bachelor of Science in both Building Science: Architectural Technology and Design, and Appropriate Technology, as well as a minor degree in Community and Regional Planning. She attended Appalachian State University, graduating Cum Laude in 2013. She has independently studied architecture in New Zealand, as well as studied passive house design and energy efficient and renewable systems technology in Austria and Italy. Audrey moved to Rome, Georgia, July of 2014, after working as the Exterior Environment Coordinator for a team competing in the international sustainable building design competition: Solar Decathlon Europe 2014. Since her employment at CEVIAN Design Lab, Audrey has contributed to the design of several projects, including those for the City of Rome, the City of Cedartown, Berry College, the Northwest Georgia Housing Authority, and Floyd Medical Center. Audrey is the project manager for CEVIAN Design Lab, and she currently serves on the Historic Preservation Commission for the City of Rome.
